Wine and Ale with Abe will be held on September 30th from 12 pm to 6 pm at the Vandalia Statehouse. The event will include wine tasting with wines from local wineries, along with wines from California, Washington and Italy. There will be various types of wines and also various types of ale at the event. Food will also be provied with Pastas from Route 51 Restaurant, Chicken Wraps from Capital View Restaurant, Wings from Howie's on Main and Desserts from Gallatin Street Grill. There will also be a gourmet drizzled kettle corn. The event will also include craft vendors, artisans, furniture, home decor and much more. There will also be commemorative pilsner and wine glasses and cork screws for sale. Friends and Families of Fayette County Hospital will have cheese and cracker trays for sale and water and soda will be for sale from the Fayette County Cancer Fund. All money raised will go toward the window renovation project.
