NWS says 2 Tornadoes touched down near Vernon in Fayette & Marion Counties on Sunday afternoon
NWS storm survey teams have concluded two tornadoes touched down near Vernon on June 21. The first was at 3:48PM, and the second at 5:24PM. Both were rated EF-0, with the tracks only 1.5 miles apart from each other. This corrects an earlier post which indicated only one tornado occurred.

NWS Reports Tornado in Kinmundy area on Sunday afternoon
The National Weather Service in St. Louis says an EF-1 tornado tracked eastward across rural Marion County east of Kinmundy causing tree damage and significantly damaging a farm outbuilding. Video of the tornado shows that it was multi-vortex.
