Ronald M. Etcheson, 70, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020, at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Joe Lawson, officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date. He was born June 8, 1950, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Maurice R. & Mary Jane (Schilling) Etcheson. Married Susan B. Culbertson June 14, 1970, in Vandalia, IL. He was a retired state bank examiner; US Marine Corps, Vietnam Veteran; member of Bethel Baptist Church, Rural Vandalia, IL; and served as a Deacon at several area churches in the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by: Wife – Susan Etcheson, Vandalia, IL; and Daughter – Katie Callahan & Mike, Vandalia, IL.
