(Chicago, IL) — Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is blaming the federal government for the nation’s coronavirus crisis.
On CNN’s State of the Union, Pritzker said if ventilators were built back in February, the country wouldn’t be in the position that it’s in now. President Trump has accused states of being unprepared, but Pritzker argued individual states aren’t able to do what the federal government is capable of doing. Some states haven’t issued stay-at-home orders and Pritzker said Republican governors would have issued those orders if the Trump administration had asked them to do so.
