The first Fayette County CEO Class will put all their work on display this Friday, as the program will hold their 1st annual Trade Show. Each student has been working during this year to put together their own individual business. For Clark Pearson of Vandalia says that business ties in with his father’s profession of welding.
Reyna Arenas of Vandalia has her business appropriately named “Reyna Arenas Make Up” as she does make up for many special occasions. She says this is something she’s been doing for a while and plans to continue doing in the future.
For Reyna, she will be studying in the field that her job is in, so she plans to work to keep her business going. Clark says he will work to keep his going, but knows it will be a bit tougher while he is away at college. As for things they have learned in this process, Clark says he has learned that being on time and having everything done is a big part of the business world. Reyna says learning to be patient while building up your clientele has been a big test. The Fayette County CEO Trade Show will be held on Friday from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at Kaskaskia College-Vandalia Campus. We will hear from more students tomorrow during NewsCenter.
