Brandon Dean Leonberger, age 42 of Shobonier, Illinois died October 3, 2018 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He will be cremated. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, October 13 from 1 to 3 pm at Crown Point Church, located 6 miles South of Vandalia on Country Club Road. Memorials: To his wife and children. Brandon was born November 15, 1975 in Vandalia, Illinois, the son of Lowell Dean Leonberger and Floy Jo Bell (Dial) both of St Elmo. Brandon married the love of his life Dawn Marie Cruse on September 26, 2002. He was a great Dad to his two children, Arizona and Waylon. Brandon was always tinkering with cars or trucks, tending to his many aquariums, or just spending time with his family. He also loved to fish and target practice. He was well known for his smile & laughter and would do anything for anyone if they were in need. But most of all he was well known for his Love of Family including his brothers & sisters by choice. Brandon is survived by his wife, daughter; Arizona Dawn Leonberger, and son; Waylon Dean Leonberger of Shobonier. Parents, Floy and Jim Bell of St Elmo and Dean Leonberger of St Elmo, and Brother; Justin Leonberger of Alton, IL. And many other close friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Alfred S and Viva Dial and William A. and Mary Leonberger.
