Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 24, 2018, at Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Robert Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. She was born, February 8, 1924, in Fillmore, IL, the daughter of Eddy Floyd & Cleta V. (Meyers) Paddock. Married Darel Monroe Hayes July 23, 1940 in St. Louis, MO, he passed away May 5, 2016. Mary was a Homemaker and member of Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL.
She is survived by: Daughters – Connie Grether, Vandalia, IL; Patty Smith & Dick, Carterville, IL and Jessica Peyton & David, Vandalia, IL; 16 Grandchildren; 31 Great Grandchildren; 22 Great Great Grandchildren; Daughter-in-law – Mary Hayes, Concord, NC; Brother – Perry Paddock & Carolyn, Ramsey, IL; and Sister – Cora Spears, Ohio.
