Steven C. Anderson, 64, of Ramsey, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at his home.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Fairlawn Cemetery, with Military Rites by Crawford Hale Post 95, Vandalia, IL, with Rev. Terry Westerfield officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 * before the service at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. He was born June 6, 1953, in Centralia, IL , the son of Robert Don “Andy” & Virginia F. “Ginny” (Tucker) Anderson. Steven met and Married Joan G. Gibson while they were in the MIlitary, on December 10, 1973 in Naples Italy, while were stationed. He was a retired employee of Vandalia Correctional Center, Dedicated U.S. Marine and Army National Guard Veteran, member of the Gas Pack Car Club. Steven loved working, restoring and anything that had to do with old cars.
He is survived by: Wife – Joan G. Anderson, Ramsey, IL; Mother – Virginia F. “Ginny Anderson, Ramsey, IL; Son – Zach Anderson, St. Louis, MO;
Sister-in-law – Carla Anderson, Danville, IL; Niece – Rickie Becker & Lance, Danville, IL and Nephew – Kris Anderson, Danville, IL.
Preceded in death by: His Father, 1995 and Brother – Richard Anderson, 2010.
