Severe storms rolled through Fayette County on Friday night and into Saturday morning.
Over a two hour period from 10 pm to just past midnight, Fayette County endured two separate Tornado Warnings and two separate Severe Thunderstorms Warnings. The storms brought extremely high winds, very large hail, frequent lightning and very heavy rains to the area. The storms and high winds also led to downed power lines in many areas. With the storms occurring overnight it is not known at this time how much damage there is, as more information should be available later during the day today.
