There is a new brand new edition to the downtown Vandalia Lincoln Park.
A new pergola was delivered on Thursday by Kaskaskia College. Corey Wellen talks about how this all came about.
The addition is to the downtown Lincoln Park, which sits right across Gallatin Street from the Vandalia Statehouse. The park got it’s start better than 20 years ago as the “Sitting with Lincoln” statue was dedicated back in February of 2001.
In our most recent poll, the vast majority of individuals voted they were either very concerned or somewhat concerned that Fayette County does not currently have a contract with an ambulance service—-It has been discussed that some kind of support may be needed to help an ambulance service survive in Fayette County. Would you be open to approving some type of funding (perhaps a sales tax increase) to help pay for ambulance services in Fayette County?
