We have a chance of some freezing rain late tonight.
For today, we are looking at gradually clearing skies with a high of 45—better than 20 degrees cooler than our high on Monday. Winds out of the northeast will gust better than 20 miles per hour for today.
For tonight we do have a chance of light rain tonight—then a chance of some light rain or freezing rain in the overnight hours with a low of 33. Winds from the northeast will gust better than 20 miles per hour tonight.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis says confidence has increased slightly that freezing drizzle and rain will occur in portions of northeast Missouri and west-central Illinois on Wednesday. Light accumulations are possible. This may cause hazardous conditions during the morning commute in the aforementioned areas. As of this time, it does look like the majority of the issues will stay to our north—but the chance of freezing precipitation does remain in our forecast.
