More rain is on the way to the area, with concerns for flooding in some areas today.
Rain and possibly a thunderstorm is expected for today with a high of 68. Winds will gust out of the south at better than 30 miles per hour today. We have a chance of rain and storms tonight with a low of 47.
Meanwhile, there is a threat of flooding—especially to areas to west and north that saw persistent rain last night and overnight. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says persistent rainfall, heavy at times, is leading to areas of flooding including in the St Louis metro. Creeks and streams are running high and low lying areas may become inundated, including some roadways
