There will be a Drive Thru Food Giveaway tomorrow morning in St. Elmo.
The food giveaway will be at 10 am at Conagra Brands at 1000 Brewbaker Drive in St. Elmo. It is open to all residents of Fayette County, no registration required, no financial or income requirements and one box per family.
The Drive Thru Food Giveaway is sponsored in part by the Fayette County Farm Bureau and Central Illinois Food Bank.
In our most recent poll, the vast majority of individuals voted they were either very concerned or somewhat concerned that Fayette County does not currently have a contract with an ambulance service—-It has been discussed that some kind of support may be needed to help an ambulance service survive in Fayette County. Would you be open to approving some type of funding (perhaps a sales tax increase) to help pay for ambulance services in Fayette County?
