Vandalia High School’s Tanner Robbins walked across the graduation stage on Saturday marking the end of his time at Vandalia High School, and just a day earlier on Friday, Robbins solidified his future plans, signing his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at William Penn University in Iowa. And Robbins says making everything official felt amazing.
On his choice of William Penn to continue his basketball career, Robbins says it felt like home.
Robbins, a first team SCC All-Conference selection this past season, joins a Statesmen team that competes in the NAIA Heart of America Conference who had a bit of a down year in 2023-2024, but went 30-4 and 31-2 in their 2022-23 and 2021-22 seasons.
