The Vandals went 1-1 in their round robin on Saturday at Lion’s Field in Kinmundy.
The Vandals opened their day with a 4 to 2 win over South Central. The Vandals were able to take an early 1-0 lead but then fell behind 2 to 1. The Vandals then scored 3 times in the top of the 5th to take a lead they would never give up on their way to the win. Jack Lewis went 7 strong innings for the Vandals in the win.
In their second game, the Vandals struggled defensively and fell to Breese Mater Dei, 8 to 0.
The Vandals are now 4-3 on the season. The Vandals are off this week and will return to action on April 1st when they host CHBC.
