Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City boys basketball used a big second half to pick up their third win in a row, beating Sullivan 46-40 on Saturday afternoon at the CIC-NTC Shootout at Warrensburg-Latham. The Bobcats trailed by just four at the end of the first quarter, 20-16, but after being outscored 12-6 in the second quarter, the deficit was extended out to 10 at halftime, 32-22. CHBC went on a 14-4 run in the third quarter to tie things up at 36-36 at the end of the third quarter. And they would outscore Sullivan 10-4 in the fourth quarter and complete the comeback for the 46-40 win. CHBC is now 13-16 on the season and will wrap up the regular season this week, traveling to Sandoval on Tuesday and hosting St. Elmo-Brownstown on Friday.
