After two weeks of practice, the girls basketball season officially gets going tonight with games around the state. Four of our I70Sports.com area teams will be in action and we will have the broadcast of two of those teams meeting as they kick off their seasons and also their conference slate. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will be at South Central in the first National Trail Conference game of the season for both teams. CHBC is coming off of a 21-11 season while the host Cougars are coming off of a 15-17 season. The JV game will get underway at 6:15pm with two quarters of play with the Varsity to follow at about 7:00pm. We will have the broadcast of the Varsity game on 107.1 FM WKRV and streaming live at vandaliaradio.com.
