Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City suffered a tough two set loss 21-25, 25-27 to Patoka on their Senior Night on Tuesday. Prior to the match, eight seniors were honored including Koda Colman, Kylee Bethel, Sarah Doedtman, Marissa Summers, Karlee Smith, Audri Kaiser, Katlyn Arnett and Abbi Morgason. With the loss, CHBC drops to 7-14 on the season and finish up Egyptian Illini Conference play at 2-3. They will begin play in the National Trail Conference Tournament on Friday, facing North Clay at 5:00pm at St. Anthony Grade School’s Goff Gym and will face South Central immediately after that at 6:00pm in pool play. Next week, they will compete in the Egyptian Illini Conference Tournament.
