St. Elmo-Brownstown volleyball went 1-2 on Saturday and took fourth place at the Webber Smackdown Tournament. In their first match, the Lady Eagles were a 25-22, 25-10 winner over Galatia to earn a spot in the semifinals. In their semifinal match, SEB fell to Cobden 16-25, 19-25 which dropped them into the third place where they fell to host Webber in three sets 19-25, 25-18, 8-15. Senior libero Peyton Garrard and senior middle hitter Abbi Ledbetter were both named to the All-Tournament Team. SEB now stands at 6-14 on the season and will be on the road again today to take on Patoka in Egyptian Illini Conference match.
