Vandals Golfer Conner McCall has qualified for the Illinois Open Championship after advancing through the qualifier this week.
In the qualifier tournament at Maple Meadows Golf Club in Wood Dale, Conner waited through 2 separate delays during the tournament and was at -1 through 13 holes. But, because of the rain, the tournament was reduced to a 9 hole event and Conner was at even par at that time. And, with that score he qualifies for the Illinois Open Championship.
The 74th Illinois Open Championship will be held July 31st through August 2nd at Flossmoor Golf Club.
