This week, May 15th through 21st is National Police Week.
The week is a time for Police Officers to honor their fallen colleagues, make sure those surviving them are supported as well as to remember their commitment to keeping people safe. As for citizens and civilians, we can also celebrate the week by showing respect and gratitude to the Police Officers around them. National Police Week is all about honor, gratitude, remembrance, servitude, and peer support.
You will find displays on our website at www.vandaliaradio.com for National Police Week with lists of the officers for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Vandalia Police Department and St. Elmo Police Department.
