The Mulberry Grove Lady Aces put on a dominating showing on Saturday, going 3-0, no hitting two of their opponents and also not allowing a single run scored on their way to taking the title of the Egyptian Illini Conference Softball Tournament on Saturday. The Aces Lily Johnson would toss a solo no-hitter in the Aces opening win over Ramsey before teaming up with sister Lola Johnson to no-hit St. Elmo-Brownstown and then getting the solo shutout against CHBC.
Ramsey would finish second with a record of 2-1, CHBC was third after going 1-2 and St. Elmo-Brownstown finished 0-3.
