The South Central Lady Cougars would rack up 17 hits while holding Ramsey to 3 hits in a 17-1 win at Ramsey on Wednesday. After South Central hopped out to a 1-0 lead I the first, the Lady Cougars piled on six more runs in the second and eight more runs in the third to lead 15-0 before the Rams would get their first and only run of the game across the plate in the bottom of the third inning. South Central would then round out the game’s scoring with two more runs in the fourth inning to grab the 17-1 win. Ella Watwood got the complete game win on the mound for the Cougars while Oliva Carroll took the loss for the Rams. South Central moves to 13-5 on the season while Ramsey drops to 1-8.
