The Altamont Indians have played a strong schedule and have faced some tough games all year long. And, tonight will be no different as they will face some big obstacles in the Class 1A Regional Championship game tonight.
First off the obstacle will be a very strong opponent in the 27-6 Nokomis Redskins. The two teams played on February 3rd with Altamont getting the 53 to 49 win. But, Nokomis led that game 27 to 19 at halftime.
The other big obstacle tonight will be playing that tough opponent on their home floor, as Nokomis will host the Regional Championship game tonight at 7 pm.
Altamont is 27-4 on the season and will be gunning for their 10th regional championship in program history in tonight’s game. A win would move the Indians to their own Sectional on Tuesday night.
