Ramsey boys basketball dropped their opening game of the Litchfield Rick McGraw Memorial Basketball Invitational on Saturday, falling to Civic Memorial 52-37. Ramsey would play the Eagles tight in the first quarter, trailing 12-8 at the end of the first quarter. The Rams would outscore Civic Memorial 15-14 in the second to trim the Eagles lead to 26-23 at halftime. Civic Memorial would use a 15-10 third quarter run to push their lead to 41-33 before Ramsey would be held to just four points in the fourth quarter and Civic Memorial would go on to the 52-37 win. Ramsey drops to 5-12 on the season with the loss and will look to rebound in their second game off pool play when they take on Hillsboro at 4:00pm on Monday. They will then have at least two days off before playing their first bracket game on either Thursday or Friday depending on their pool placing.
