Vandals Basketball will open their 2022-23 season on Monday at the Cumberland Thanksgiving Tournament.
The Vandals will be looking to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament for the first time after losing their opening game in their first two years in the tourney. The Vandals will open play on Monday night at 7:30 pm when they will take on Dieterich. The two teams met in the consolation bracket of the tournament last year, when the Vandals rallied to get a 61 to 60 win over the Movin’ Maroons. With a win the Vandals would move to the semi-finals of the tournament on Friday and would play at 6 pm. A loss would put the Vandals in the 3 pm game on Friday.
