
Audrey Fink, 94, passed away at 9am on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia. She was born on June 23, 1928, in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of the late Herbert Jacob and Sophia Irene (Griebel) Fink. Survivors include a nephew and his wife: Kevin and Carol Syfert of East Alton, Illinois, a niece and her husband: Connie and Desmond Lynch of Oscoda, Michigan, a great niece: Brittany Lynch, a great nephew: Ian Lynch, a great – great niece: Claire Schilling, and a great – great nephew: Wyatt Schilling.
Audrey was employed as an administrative assistant at Vandalia High School for forty – eight years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vandalia. She enjoyed bowling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Darlene Syfert.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia. Private family burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights. Pastor Tom Goodell will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church in Vandalia.
