(Chicago, IL) — A Chicago man is accused of sending Illinois Governor candidate Darren Bailey a voicemail that threatened to kill him. Scott Lennox is charged with one felony count each of threatening a public official, telephone harassment, and harassment by electronic communications. Police say the 21-year-old defendant left the Republican state senator a voicemail on October 28 that threatened to mutilate and kill him. Lennox is expected to appear in Cook County bond court sometime today.
