Altamont picked up two big wins, sweeping the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes in a doubleheader on Thursday night, winning the first game 13-7 and getting a 9-4 win in the second game. In the first game, the Indians tallied 16 hits in the game with 4 of those coming from Mason Robinson while Keinon Eirhart and Kaidyn Miller teamed up for three RBI each to bring in half of the Indian’s runs in the game. In the second game of the doubleheader, Keegan Schultz had a big night at the plate, going 3-3 with an RBI. Jared Hammer would get the win on the mound in the game, going the first 5 innings and striking out 9 of the 21 batters he faced. With the two wins, Altamont is now 15-4 on the season. They will be back in action Friday night, hosting Cisne in an evening game with a 6:00pm start.
