Among those on hand this past Saturday at the Fayette County Democrats Chicken Dinner was Democrat candidate for Fayette County Clerk Iris Virden. Iris talks about her campaign for the office.
And, she says having worked in the office for the past 14 years does give her some experience and some knowledge about the position.
Virden will face Incumbent Republican Jessica Barker in the November General Election.
