The South Central Cougars continued to roll through the early part of their schedule on Tuesday, beating North Clay/Clay City, 7-1. After three scoreless innings to start the game, South Central scored first getting two runs across in the top of the 4th inning. NC/CC would score their lone run in the 5th inning to make it 2-1 before the Cougars would tack on 4 insurance runs in the 6th inning and one more in the 7th for the 7-1 win. Anthony Buonaura got the win on the mound going 6 innings and striking out 10 while allowing just one run on one hit. South Central is now 5-1 on the season and will try to make it 6 wins in a row when they travel to Cisne on Thursday.
