Altamont volleyball fell in their home opener to Newton on Tuesday 23-25, 16-25. The Indians are now 0-2 on the season and will be back at home on Thursday hosting Sullivan before getting several more games in on their home floor with the annual Altamont Invitational Tournament on Saturday.
