Vandalia sophomore Bella Austin wrapped up competition for the 2022 season as a key member of the Springfield Shock volleyball team at the AAU National Volleyball Championship in Orlando, Florida with the Shock bringing home some hardware.
The Shock competed in the Aspire AU15 bracket of the tournament with 135 teams, going 12-2 and claiming the 15 Aspire (Silver) Consolation Championship. Over the course of the season stretching from January to June, the Shock went 40-10 playing tournaments across several states including a 6-1 showing in Nashville, Tennessee in February.
