Vandalia Red and Vandalia Black–the original Shed Field baseball teams that have been playing together since a very early age and will see a few of the group graduate this spring–will play their final game on June 1st at Busch Stadium.
The group has played together in summer ball for about a decade or so—and saw their number of “summer league” games expand a big amount during the pandemic. The group will get together for one more game. They will take the field at Busch Stadium on Wednesday, June 1st following the Cardinals game versus the Padres that starts at 12:15 pm. The Vandals game will be 1 hour after the conclusion of the Cardinals game. Tickets for the MLB game are in the lower LF box (sections 168-172) and are $30 per ticket. The game is sponsored by the Field of Dreams organization.
