The Cowden-Herrick Beecher City girls basketball team held their end of season awards banquet on Thursday evening. As a team, the Bobcats ended their season at 24-7 after falling in the Cumberland 1A Regional Championship game. They earned a share of the National Trail Conference Regular Season Championship and won their own CHBC Thanksgiving Tournament and the Dieterich Holiday Tournament.
For the individual awards that were presented on Thursday night, CHBC’s lone senior Lani Morrison was named the Defensive MVP. Junior Gracie Heckert was named Offensive MVP and received the Highest Free Throw Percentage award. Junior Madison Wojcik earned the Rebounding Award and Aja Gour received the “Life of the Huddle” award.
