Vandalia native Sally Emerick has accepted the position of Human Resources Coordinator at The FNB Community Bank.
Emerick started at The FNB Community Bank as a Junior Trust Officer and was promoted to Assistant Trust Officer in January 2021. In her time working in the trust department, Emerick has specialized in supervising trust assets to protect the financial future of customers and their families, managing the complexities of investments, estates, benefits and taxes, and advising customers to find the most helpful and efficient service for their wealth management.

Emerick brings human resources experience from her position as General Manager at the Holiday Inn Express in Vandalia where, in her managerial role, she performed a broad variety of duties from staff training and development, to consulting with executives on strategic planning, to linking management with its employees. She is also currently completing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on human resources. Her employee relations experience and human resources knowledge will play a vital role in her new position with The FNB Community Bank.

Emerick is a 2003 graduate of Vandalia Community High School and is actively involved in local initiatives. She serves as treasurer for both the Greater Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and Fayette County CEO. Emerick also serves her hometown as a representative on the Vandalia Tourism Commission, Vandalia Police Commission Board, and Vandalia Christian Academy School Board.

In her new position as Human Resources Coordinator, Emerick will provide strategic leadership and hands-on contribution in areas such as employment, training and development, and employee relations.
The FNB Community Bank, founded in 1865, has locations in Vandalia, Greenville, Ramsey, Patoka, and Mulberry Grove.
