There is a Drive-Thru Food Giveaway being held this morning in St. Elmo. It is being held at 10 am this morning at Conagra Brands at 1000 Brewbaker Drive in St. Elmo. It is open to residents of Fayette County, no registration required and no financial eligibility requirements. They ask that you wear a mask and clear space in your trunk or back seat to ensure everyone’s safety. It is sponsored by the Fayette County Farm Bureau and the Central Illinois Food Bank.
More on Ambulance Service--Are you Open to a Tax to help support it?
In our most recent poll, the vast majority of individuals voted they were either very concerned or somewhat concerned that Fayette County does not currently have a contract with an ambulance service—-It has been discussed that some kind of support may be needed to help an ambulance service survive in Fayette County. Would you be open to approving some type of funding (perhaps a sales tax increase) to help pay for ambulance services in Fayette County?
