Upgrades for Randolph Street in Vandalia will be coming soon.
At this past Monday’s meeting, Lee Beckman with Milano and Grunloh Engineering updated the Vandalia City Council on several projects. One of those projects is upgrades for Randolph Street. The low bidder for the project was Baxmeyer Construction with a bid of $693,517 and they were awarded the project. The project extends from Sunset Drive to approximately 200 feet west of Shelby Avenue on Randolph Street. It is to be funded by Surface Transportation Program Urban funds. There will be a pre-construction meeting held on the project on May 6th at 11 am at I-DOT in Effingham.
