More storms rolled through the area over the weekend. Heavy rains came both early Saturday morning and again on Sunday night, along with strong winds and lightning with both storms. But, Fayette County did avoid some of the stronger storms at least on Sunday night. Early Saturday morning, the storms prompted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for southern Fayette County during the 2 am hour. Storms on Sunday night prompted a Tornado Warning in Bond County. But, that Warning was eventually canceled early and Fayette County was never under a storm warning on Sunday night. But, the storm did bring plenty of heavy rains to the area along with some strong winds that dropped the temperature better than 10 degrees on Sunday night.
