In their latest Weather Briefing, the National Weather Service in St. Louis says a cold front pushes through the region Friday evening
and overnight, with thunderstorms primarily forming along and behind the front. There is a low (10-20%) threat for thunderstorms
Friday afternoon ahead of the front. If these occur, all severe hazards will be possible including damaging winds, large hail, and an isolated tornado. Thunderstorms are more likely along and behind the front Friday evening and into the overnight hours. These storms will primarily pose a threat for large hail to the size of quarters.
