Meanwhile, we have the potential for severe storms on Friday. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late Friday afternoon and evening as a cold front moves into the area. If severe storms occur, they will have the potential to produce large hail, damaging wind, and locally heavy rainfall.
