We will see sunshine and windy conditions today.
We are looking at sunny skies for today with a high of 59. Winds from the northwest will gust about 30 miles per hour today. Then, clear skies and cold tonight with a low of 36. Winds from the northwest will gust about 20 miles per hour tonight.
Meanwhile, after more sunshine on Wednesday we will see rain and storms on the way after that. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says rain returns to the region Wednesday and multiple chances for showers and thunderstorms will move through the area through the weekend. But it won’t be a complete washout, and not everyone will see rain each day. Details surrounding the holiday weekend rain chances are still coming into focus. A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible across central and northeast Missouri and west-central Illinois Thursday night into Friday.
