
We are looking at cooler temperatures for today.
We will see cloudy skies for today with a high of 52. Winds out of the northwest will gust better than 20 miles per hour today. Then, mostly clear skies for tonight with a low of 33.
Meanwhile, there is a threat of severe weather for Tuesday night through Wednesday night. As for Tuesday night, the NWS says a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night, primarily after midnight. The highest probability of any severe storms will be across central and northeast Missouri. Large hail is the primary threat with damaging winds a secondary threat.
As for Wednesday, the threat for severe weather is bigger for our area. The NWS says Severe thunderstorms are likely Wednesday. Centered on the afternoon and evening and possibly as early as midday. The greatest threat is across eastern Missouri and western Illinois. All hazards are possible including large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.
