The Tornado Watch for Fayette County has been canceled.
The watch was originally issued at noon and was until 7 pm. They then extended the watch until 11 pm. But, it has now been canceled. We do still have a chance of showers and storms tonight.
Upon Further Review---Have your thoughts changed on the proposed 1% sales tax increase for a new courthouse and jail?
Back in January, we had a poll asking if you were or were not in favor of the proposed 1% sales tax increase to pay for a new Fayette County Courthouse and Jail. At the time, the vote was decidedly against it. But, upon further review, we wanted to see what your thoughts were now as we near the April 1st Election Day.
