South Central baseball racked up nine hits on Friday, but scored just one run in a 4-1 loss to Christ Our Rock at home. The Stallions scored first with a run in the third inning and three more in the sixth inning as the Cougars trailed 4-0. A one out single by Trevan Sidwell in the bottom of the seventh inning, cut the CORL lead to 4-1 but the Cougars ran out of time after a pop out and a ground out stopped the late inning threat and South Central fell 4-1. The Cougars drop to 2-2 on the season and will play at Breese Mater Dei today at 11:00am.
