Rain Today—Chance of Storms early Sunday morning then severe weather later on Sunday

We are looking at a rocky weather weekend for the area.

Today we will see rain with a high of 66.  Winds out of the south will gust better than 20 miles per hour today.  then, the chances of rain ending tonight with a low of 60.  Winds from the south will gust better than 20 miles per hour tonight.

Sunday has a chance of rain and thunderstorms in the morning with a high of 73.  Winds from the south will gust better than 20 miles per hour.  Then, rain and thunderstorms on Sunday night with a low of 41.

The National Weather Service in St. Louis says thunderstorms are expected to redevelop Sunday afternoon with threats increasing from west to east. If cloud cover from early Sunday rainfall clears out quick enough, heat will rebuild to provide better instability with all hazards possible. Otherwise, should clouds linger, thunderstorm severity could be limited enough to curb some of the severe potential.
