CHBC baseball was held to just two hits in a 9-4 loss to Dieterich on Friday. After Dieterich grabbed a 1-0 first inning lead, the Bobcats evened things up with a run in the bottom half of the first to make it 1-1. Dieterich pulled back ahead 2-1 in the second until CHBC scored two runs in the bottom of the third to take a 3-2 lead. The Maroons took the lead for good in the fourth inning with 4 runs to regain the lead over the Bobcats, 6-3. CHBC’s final run came in the bottom of the fifth inning to cut it to a 6-4 ballgame, but three more runs in the sixth and seventh innings gave Dieterich the 9-4 win. CHBC falls to 0-4 on the season and will next play Tuesday at Odin.
