
We have our final two questions for the two candidates running for Vandalia Mayor in the April 1st Consolidated Election.
Throughout this series, both candidates have been asked the exact same questions.
Bobby Pate, Junior is one of the candidates for Vandalia Mayor. In the past, there has been discussion of the City of Vandalia working on alliances with potentially Greenville and/or other communities in Fayette County to have a better shot at bringing businesses or jobs to the area. Pate, Junior says he’d be all for it.

Audio PlayerBoth Knebel and Pate, Junior will square off in the April 1st Consolidated Election with the winner taking over as the new Mayor for the CIty of Vandalia and would be sworn in before the first meeting in May. The winner will take over for Mayor Rick Gottman, who did not run for another term after serving in the office since 2001.
