Federal immigration officials would have a hurdle from going into schools to enforce the law with a bill advancing at the Illinois Statehouse.
Earlier this month in a House committee, State Representative Blaine Wilhour asked how House Bill 3247 would impact the ability for ICE to enter a school to serve a detention order against an 18 year old illegal immigrant.
