Illinois Unemployment Down Slightly

(Springfield, IL) — Illinois’ unemployment rate is down slightly. The Illinois Department of Employment Security says the state’s jobless rate fell point-one percentage points to four-point-eight-percent in February. Non-farm payroll jobs were dropped by 65-hundred.

Upon Further Review---Have your thoughts changed on the proposed 1% sales tax increase for a new courthouse and jail?

Back in January, we had a poll asking if you were or were not in favor of the proposed 1% sales tax increase to pay for a new Fayette County Courthouse and Jail.
